AbstractThis laboratory course is for Interdisciplinary Students with focus on Physics and Chemistry (Physikalisch-chemische Richtung). The topic of the work is determined individually. Possible topics are protein expression and purification for NMR studies and the structure determination of ligand-protein interaction sides by NMR.
ObjectiveThe students will be exposed to biochemical labwork on protein preparation or/and NMR studies on proteins. They will participate in an ongoing research project tutored by PhD students or postdoctoral fellows. The students describe the context and the results of the work in a seminar at the end.
