Kurzbeschreibung70% of all construction problems are related to moisture. This course aims at providing the necessary theoretical background in order to foresee and avoid these problems.

LernzielIm Rahmen der Vorlesung werden die grundlegenden Eigenschaften der mineralischen, metallischen und polymeren Baustoffe sowie von Holz und Glas behandelt. Damit soll eine materielle Basis für die Konstruktion geliefert werden. Zum Stoff gehören auch die relevanten ökologischen Zusammenhänge wie Rohstoffverfügbarkeit, Produktionsaufwand, Schadstoffabgabe und Entsorgung respektive Wiederverwertung.

LernzielThe goal is that the students learn to evaluate hygrothermal performance of the building in the different stages of the design process. The students learn to evaluate and optimize their design, to choose adequate wall solutions and materials, to design details from a perspective of hygrothermal performance.

KurzbeschreibungIn drei Wahlfächern muss je eine Wahlfacharbeit (Seminararbeit) verfasst werden. Wahlfacharbeiten dienen der eigenständigen Auseinandersetzung mit den Inhalten der entsprechenden Wahlfächer.
LernzielDie Absicht der Wahlfacharbeit ist es, das Verständnis der spezifischen Problemstellungen in der Städtebauphysik oder bei der Planung von Niedrigenergie-Gebäuden zu fördern.
Mögliche Themen wären: Wind- und thermischer Komfort in bebauter Umgebung, Wärmeinseln, Durchlüftung, Schlagregen, Schadstoffverteilung, Neue Technologien für Niedrigenergie-Gebäude, Planung von Gebäudesystemen, optimierte Steuerung.
Die Arbeit kann Computer-Modellierung oder das Testen von Modellen im Labor beinhalten.
InhaltDie Inhalte der Wahlfacharbeiten in Architekturkritik sollen einen Zusammenhang mit dem unterrichteten Stoff aufweisen.
Voraussetzungen / BesonderesDas Thema der Wahlfacharbeit muss zwingend vor Beginn der Arbeit mit dem Lehrstuhl abgesprochen und von diesem genehmigt werden.
