KurzbeschreibungThis PhD Colloquium gives PhD students the opportunity to present and discuss their research with other PhD students and researchers working on climate change related topics in several disciplines. Contributions from natural sciences, economics, law, and social sciences are welcome. Changes in perspective and the breadth of the presentations and discussions create a chance of gaining new insights.
LernzielThe objective of this Colloquium is to provide PhD students an opportunity to discuss their climate change related research with researchers from different disciplines. PhD students should widen the horizon of their own research, learn how their research is embedded in the broader climate change debate and gain new insights and stimuli for interdisciplinary research. Eventually they can extend their network across several institutes of ETH and UZH.
InhaltParticipants are expected to
- submit a short abstract (ca. half a page) introducing their own research and research progress
