|Abstract||Course on mathematical foundations of navigation and basic solutions of navigational problems.|
|Objective||Students know the mathematical tools in navigation. They are able to further consolidate their navigational knowlegde by their own. They know some basic solution principles in navigation.|
|Content||Geometry on the surface, Trajectories, course, rhumbline, orthodrome, maneuver, moving coordinate systems, observations from accelerated platforms, observables, observation equations of different systems (satellites, DME/DME, VOR, radar, INS...), error estimation, Kalman filtering.|
