AbstractThe participants have at least an acquired B2 level. This means, they are able to take part in conversations of a medium level of difficulty, understand 60-75% of the audio-visual and written media, write texts about contemporary issues and defend their points of view using opinion structures.
ObjectiveThe course aims to introduce a specific thematic in Spanish-speaking regions or countries through the cinema, taking into account the geopolitical and cultural spectrum of the Spanish language. It also aims the participant to get familiarized with images, customs, dialogs and vocabulary, carrying out an observation, analysis, and comment of these elements.
ContentWe focus our attention on visual observation, development of ideas, presentation, and interaction. Some other elements worked are glossaries of different linguistic regions. Some basic elements of movie-making are presented. Presentations are to be prepared in autonomy, in a very close collaboration with the lecturer.
Lecture notesThe lecturer will make the material available, coming the beginning of semester. Films can be viewed at the Selbstlernzentrum.
Prerequisites / NoticeThe certificate and ETCS points are granted to the students who have complied with the following requirements:
* To watch the fourteen films (one per week).
* To present of one of the films.
* To regularly participate in the blog and forum of the course.
* To actively participate during the lessons.
* To write a text towards the end of the semester.
