The first part of the course offers a glimpse of the theology and liturgy of Sikhism, an Indian faith that was long seen as part of Hinduism. The following sessions put the historical development of the Sikh community under scrutiny - from the days of founder Guru Nanak in 15th C to Sikh separatist terrorism in the 1980 and 90s.
