This course deals with the patterns and forms of surveillance in late modernity (police, population registers, human resource departments, customer programs, monitoring, market analysis, social media).
Objective
In a blended learning environment (7 classes, 5 online lessons), participants are learning how to deal with theoretical concepts and archival reality checks (both digital and analogue) and are writing a scientific contribution to the history of technology of the knowledge society.
