Abstract
The goal of this course is to teach students how to evaluate the performance of complex computer and software systems. Accordingly, the methodology to carry out experiments and measurements is studied. Furthermore, the modelling of systems with the help of queueing network systems is explained.

The final grade will be determined from the project, which has to be delivered by the end of semester.
The deadline for deregistering from ASL is October 14th! Please note that after this date, a student still registered for the course commits to submitting a report. Students who are still registered by this date but do not submit a report for the project will officially fail the course (even if the student deregisters at a later point in time).
