AbstractClinical examination of the musculoskeletal and nervous systems
Learning objectiveStudents can perform active and passive examination of the peripheral joints, the spine and the central and peripheral nervous system in healthy people. This means:
• The students know the procedure of the examinations.
• They know the common tests and can perform them practically.
• They know the normal results of the tests and recognize pathological findings.
ContentIn diesem Kurs werden die Grundlagen der aktiven und passiven klinischen Untersuchung (insbesondere Inspektion, Palpation, Durchführung der Neutral-Null-Methode und der Funktionstest für die Gelenke, Muskeln, Sehnen und Nerven) am gesunden Menschen in folgenden Themenbereichen vermittelt:
• Untere Extremität: Hüft-, Knie- und Gelenke des Fusses inkl. Beinachse und Bewegungsanalyse
• Obere Extremität: Schulter- Ellbogen- und Gelenke der Hand
• Hals-, Brust-, Lendenwirbelsäule und Iliosakralgelenk
• Zentrales und peripheres Nervensystem (insbesondere Prüfung der sensiblen, motorischen, koordinativen und vegetativen Funktion)
